A BRIEF FACT ABOUT NYO
The Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO) is a National Youth Body founded in December 1980 as a Trustee Based Youth Organization with RC Number 5257.
The Nigeria Youth Organisation was founded with the belief that the Youth as a class, have a common destiny and obligation to society, the nation and humanity at large.
Atop of this is the Organisation’s desire to serve as catalyst for the promotion of Peace and Unity in Nigeria and to serve as facilitator for inter – element/system dialogue, all in order to foster Ideal and harmonious living among Nigerians.
We are committed to Excellence and Patriotism and as well poised at building a Virile, more United and Progressive Nigeria. We are the Vanguard for the Wellbeing of the Nigerian Youths.
We are directly under the supervision of the Presidency through the Federal Ministry of Youth Development.
His Youthfulness Comrade Dr. Okorie C. Okorie MNCRA (Ambassador of Peace) is currently the National Executive President of the Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO).
Comrade Okorie C. Okorie was formerly a Registrar with the Ebonyi State Judiciary Customary Court of Appeal. He is a Christian and from Ebonyi State of Nigeria.
Before the emergence of Comrade Okorie C. Okorie as the National Executive President of the Nigeria Youth Organisation, he previously served as the Chairman of NYO Ebonyi State Chapter under the Leadership of the Late Former President, Alhaji Ahmed Musa Bature and National Vice President of NYO South East Zone under the Leadership of His Youthfulness Hon. Abdullahi Abubakar Wali, former National Executive President of NYO.
