In 2020 Comrade Okorie C. Okorie the National Vice President NYO South East Zone as he was and Hon. Prince Fortune Chinonso the then Imo State Chapter Chairman of NYO led the members of the Nigeria Youth Organisation NYO on a solidarity match to Government House Owerri to thank President Buhari for approving everything 1st November for the celebration of National Youth Day. The team was received by the Deputy Governor of Imo State Prof Placid Njoku.
